The On-Call Scheduler answers one question reliably: who is on call right now? It keeps rotations and stays in sync with PagerDuty.
Who is on call
Rotations are stored as real records, and "who is on call now" is answered by a time-interval query against the current schedule, not a guess. The data is real and queryable.
PagerDuty sync
Malviont syncs schedules and escalation policies from PagerDuty, through a background worker, so your PagerDuty rotations show up in Malveon.
What is not wired yet
To be honest about direction: pushing a rotation you create in Malveon back to PagerDuty is not yet wired. Native rotations are stored, and sync runs from PagerDuty into Malveon; the reverse push is on the roadmap. Document and plan around the sync-from direction for now.
